Left CT in November of 2015 am I'm now living in Midway, Utah. Thirty minutes to epic skiing at Park City and Deer Valley and less than 15 minutes to five different golf courses. Four hours to Jackson Hole, six hours to the Grand Canyon. three to Moab and ten hours to the Playa at Burning Man. I've become a Burner, among many other things. I've been in my own home for more than two years now, and I'd be happy to welcome any visitors who venture west.

School Story:

Best moment I recall was a Health Teacher (goofy blonde headed guy, name forgotten) giving a demonstration of contraceptive foam and the applicator slipped and there was an explosion of foam which covered him - too bad You Tube wasn't around!

Shelly, I'm so sorry to hear about Bill. It must have been a long hard battle. I hope you can take care of yourself now.

Hey, gang. I won't be able to attend the reunion, so I thought I'd put down a few things here so you can talk about me in my absence. I will be at Burning Man for my 3rd time during the reunion, sorry. I've become part of a village there, and have actually been elected Mayor of Sin City, so several life time goals have been achieved in one stroke! I'm now a permanent resident of Utah and moved into a new construction home last October. It's pretty much outdoor activity paradise here: 30 minutes to skiing, 3 hours to Moab, 4 hours to Jackson Hole and 5 hours to the Grand Canyon. I will retire from American Airlines in December of 2020 with over 32 years of aviating under my belt, and that is enough. I still come through CT to visit family and friends, so hopefully we'll get a chance to share a cup of coffee or a glass of something else. Give me a call if you ever pass my way. I'll be thinking of you all dressed up in your party suits when I'm all dusty in my scarf and kilt on the playa. Cheers to you.

Taken late August 2017. Early in Burning Man week. You can tell by how dirty and dusty I'm not. Shade tarp overhead and tent in the background.

Fully functional, not a costume. Hat for shade in the 100 degree desert sun. Goggles for the dust storms and shemagh (middle eastern scarf) for protection from both. Best time in the worst place ever. Going back next year.

Bobby Bowker's passing has put me on notice. Now's the time. Carpe Diem. What am I waiting for? I've been trying to get better at saying "Yes!" to life instead of dodging the question. I've taken some fresh risks recently and it's paying off. I've had some new fun and made some new friends and I'm going back for more. About damn time. I'll be 62 in December and I have no intention of acting it. Cheers to you all.

I remember playing Little League with Bob. He was the catcher, and actually knew what he was doing! I got posted to the outfield where they hoped I wouldn't hurt the team, but Bob was front and center and in the game all the time. I think he lived like that: in the game and a part of every play. Bob is ok now, I pray his family will be ok until they meet again.
